Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, we would like to invite you and your families to attend the 16th annual Open House on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 p.m. in College Station.
For the past fifteen years, the veterinary medical students at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine have held an Open House in which the college opens its doors to the public. Open House has grown every year, with an estimated 10,000 people attending last year—and we anticipate an even greater attendance this year. Attendees can participate in tours through the veterinary school, the large animal teaching hospital and the small animal teaching hospital, as well as enjoy demonstrations and lectures from a variety of organizations around the state. There is something for all ages, from Teddy Bear Surgery and a petting zoo for younger people to a veterinary school admissions Q&A with admissions officials and current students for those in high school.
Open House is free, open to everyone, and does not require prior registration.
