The communications endeavors of TVMA are constantly evolving. We enjoy the responsibility of bringing news in the veterinary profession to you in high-quality, well-researched publications. The Texas Veterinarian magazine has gone through dramatic changes over the decades, and the FYI newsletter is now sent to your email account, allowing you to see TVMA’s latest stories online. We welcome your ideas, articles, photographs, and graphics, and we hope that you will let us know how our publications can better serve you. Texas Veterinarian:
This popular magazine comes out six times and year and includes commentaries, feature articles, news briefs, profiles of veterinary leaders and award winners, practice management columns, the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory report, and more. The magazine is included in TVMA membership dues. Subscription rates are $60 for nonmembers in the United States and $65 for nonmembers in other countries.
FYI newsletter:
TVMA also sends its members this electronic newsletter on a bi-monthly basis, which features regulatory updates, legislative updates, TVMA news, the TVMA Notepad, classified advertisements, continuing education listings and more. A regularly updated website is also an important feature that TVMA offers its members. Weekly news updates can be found on the homepage.
