TVMF Pet Heatstroke Prevention Events

TVMF is dedicated to educating the public on proper animal care and the importance of regular veterinary visits. TVMF achieves this by holding awareness events that are free to the public. TVMF’s most popular community outreach is the Pet Heatstroke Prevention Awareness event held every summer in various cities across the state by a TVMA Member Veterinarian. This event provides information to pet owners on the signs of heatstroke, how to prevent it and what to do if their pet overheats.

If you are interested in hosting this event in your community, or have an idea for another community awareness event, please contact the TVMF office at 512-452-4224.
