TVMA Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join us in the exhibit hall Friday evening to catch up with friends and colleagues, mingle (at a safe distance) with exhibitors and win fabulous prizes by participating in our passport program. Watch four teams of veterinarians face each other in a quick game of “Veterinary Jeopardy.” This upbeat reception provides dedicated time to check out exhibiting companies all while recharging your batteries with light snacks and adult beverages before you head to dinner with friends or to the many great nighttime activities offered at Kalahari Resort. The welcome reception is open to all fully registered attendees and their guests. Cost: This event is complimentary to all individuals registered for the annual conference. You must have a name badge to enter the hall.

TVMA Awards and Installation Banquet
6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Members and guests are invited to honor extraordinary veterinarians who serve the profession through leadership and service in TVMA and their communities in the Kalahari Ballroom H-I at the resort. A viewing gallery area has been added for a small charge that will come with one drink ticket for those who would like to cheer on the award winners without purchasing a full banquet ticket. Heritage Award-winning clinics will be given special acknowledgment as well. The AVMA President-Elect, Dr. Lori Teller will install officers of the incoming Executive Committee. TVMA President’s “Around the World in 80 Days” Celebration/TVMF Auction Fundraiser
8:00 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Calling all explorers to take an adventure around the globe in honor of incoming president Dr. Tamra Walthall. No passport required. For the first time ever, all conference registrants will receive a complimentary ticket to this event. Upon entry, you can sit at one of the tables representing countries around the world. Entertainment will be provided by the one and only Spazmatics. Fun stuff will be stationed around the room—ax throwing, face painting, a photo corner and more! Heavy appetizers and adult beverages will be served and prizes given for participation in the evening’s activities as well as for best costume. Join us for a jolly good time.
Attire: Costumes are encouraged. The possibilities are endless. Just pick your favorite country. Cost: Complimentary to conference registrants; Additional guests must purchase ticket for $30. A limited number of tickets available at the door.
TVMF Silent Auction
Get into the spirit of bidding at this year’s silent auction benefiting TVMF, which will begin accepting bids on Saturday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. during the President’s Celebration. TVMF’s silent auction promises to be filled with spirited and generous bidders circling over great items such as hotel stays, veterinary supplies, artwork, jewelry and much more. The TVMA Annual Conference & Expo is your one-stop for the latest, most innovative products, equipment and services available on the veterinary market. Access to the exhibit area for registered attendees and their guests will be by conference name badge only. Coffee, water and light snacks will be available in the exhibit hall during designated times throughout the course of the conference.
