A snail causes an Austin woman’s dog to become severely ill, racks up thousands in vet bills

Texas honey bee populations seem to be bouncing back after a variety of environmental challenges over the past few years.

Texas lawmakers voted to temporarily attach the state’s Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to another state agency.

The inaugural class will start clinical rotations on June 2024, and students will spend 20 weeks in required veterinary rotations and approximately 20 weeks in elective rotations in a clinical learning network of these community-based partners.

The project will research advances in pet microbiome health.
